  • How close are your properties to campus?

    Most of our properties are less than a 10 minute walk from campus!


    Do I have to sign a 12 month lease?

    Are leases typically run for a 12 month period; howerver we will run a 10 month lease with the exception of a lease change.


    Where can I park?

    We offer parking a block from up town although most of our properties have their own parking!


    Will there be a washer/dryer/dishwasher in my apartment/house?

    The majority of our properties have a modern kitchen with a dishwasher and with washer's & dyer's!


    Do you allow pets?

    Yes at most locations but a few locations we do not.


    Do you have your own maintance department?

    Yes we have our own maintence department, this way our tenants get the best service!


    What are the operating hours of your maintenance department?

    Our maintenance personnel are available for normal repairs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and are on call during non office hours for emergencies!


    What are the phone numbers to have utilities turned on in my name?

    What do I need to do to be able to sign a lease?

    All you will have to do is put a $100.00 down toward your deposit; that will sign you into your lease. We will give you 30 days to pay the rest of your deposit. (Deposit is equal to one months rent)


    What do I need to do to be able to move in my apartment/house?

    You need to make sure your security deposit and first months rent is paid in full by your lease start date. You then can pick up your keys at the office and schedule a move-in inspection!


    How long after move-in do I have to report previous damages?

    Once you move in you will have 14 days to report any previous damages to be marked in your file for record; however we will do a proper move-in inspection after you have moved in!


    What do I need to do to receive my security deposit return back?

    You need to schedule a move-out inspection for the day you will be leaving . Make sure everyone gives a forwarding address. We mail back 1 check with in 30 days of your end lease date with everyones name on it unless stated otherwise.  


    What if I signed a lease and I plan on not coming back to Ohio University?

    Well you will be responsible for finding a subleaser; at times we might know of someone that is looking. Once you find someone you will be responsible for doing an agreement between the two of you and making sure we have a copy of it for our records.
