Most of our properties are less than a 10 minute walk from campus!

Keep in mind that Athens Transit services and the Cats Bus Service are available to most of our rentals as well.

Do I have to sign a 12 month lease?

Our leases typically run for a 12 month period. We do sometimes offer shorter options, and we also have rentals that are available by the month or quarter. We know year long leases dont work for everyone, so let us know what term you are needing and we will do our best to help!

    Where can I park?

Many of our properties have parking available.

If parking is not provided, we have 3 lots with spaces available for rent by the month, quarter, or year. They are located on East State and Stimson Avenue, and are just a quick walk to many of our rentals!

Will there be a washer/dryer/dishwasher in my apartment/house?

Many of our rentals have a washer/dryer/dishwashers included.

Most of our mutli-apartment houses have washer/dryers onsite, and all of our apartment complexes have laundry facilities onsite.

    Do you allow pets?

Yes, most of our apartments and houses are pet friendly.  We do have a few that are not, so please be sure to ask!

Do you have your own maintance department?

What are the operating hours of your maintenance department?

You are able to move in to your apartment/house as soon as the beginning date of your lease. You need to make sure your security deposit and first month's rent is paid in full by your lease start date. You then can pick up your keys at the office and schedule a move-in inspection!

What do I need to do to receive my security deposit return back?

You need to schedule a move-out inspection for the day you will be leaving . Make sure everyone gives a forwarding address. We mail back one check  made payable to all tenants within 30 days of the lease end date, unless stated otherwise in writing.

What if I signed a lease and I plan on not coming back to Ohio University?

You will be responsible for finding a subleaser. At times we might know of someone that is looking for a place, and will be more than willing to help you if we can. Once you find someone, you will be responsible for making an agreement. We do ask that you provide us with a copy of the agreement, as well as contact information for the subleaser.
